I'm looking forward to it and I've registered already. For colours, maybe some green in it, because it is on plants.

Thanks, Peter for doing the job of a Global Moderator. I've already gained you the rights. The basis structure is almost finished.

Great, Melanie!
I've resgistered already. I find the colour combination nice and pleasant.

I am currently thinking to close the plants categories in this forum and shift the discussion about plant related topics completely into the new forum. What do you think about that idea?

This would make all more clear (übersichtlicher).

I don't know if it would be a sacrilege what I'm going to propose, but... what about closing all the plants categories and copying them in the Vanishing Plants forum? If the later is to be an branch of the Extinction Forum specializing in plants, then let it be so fully and taking advantage of the wealth of information already gathered here.

Well, I've thought to copy all the old threads from this forum to the new forum and start a spunkier discussion about extinct and endangered plants. I think also that it is a better solution than to made duplicate entrees in both forums. And as Noisi has stated it makes both forums clearer.

When you say close, do you mind moving them to the Vanishing Forum?

Of course, duplicate entries is crazy

What about providing access to both forums for the existing users with the same passsword. That would be two forums sharing the same membership? Just an idea to consider...

Well moving would be easy but it is technically not possible so i can only made duplicate entrees in the Vanishing Plants forum provided that i could receive the permission by Sebbe, Another Specialist, Bowhead Whale, Noisi, and all the others who have already replied in the Extinct, Endangered, Prehistoric, Rediscovered, New Discovered Plant threads in this forum for the use of their replies in the new forum. When you say close, do you mind moving them to the Vanishing Forum?

I'm afraid that it technically not possible so anyone who is interested must be registered newly for the Vanishing Plants forum. He/she can of course use the same passwort as for this forum. What about providing access to both forums for the existing users with the same passsword. That would be two forums sharing the same membership? Just an idea to consider...

So the technical facts narrow the possibilities to your original proposal of duplicate all threads and posts (I'm sure everybody will agree), and closing the discussion on plants in this forum. Well, I, for one, support your idea.
