Yesterday I´ve made a drawing of Hoplodactylus delcourti, but now I´ve recogniced that its tail is a bit longer and thicker than those of the stuffed specimen. As I saw this, I also recogniced that the tail of the holotype-specimen actually looks a bit strange, like a regrown tail after an autotomie. perso.wanadoo.fr/cryptozoo/HOPLODAC.JPGWhat do you think, had H. delcourti normally a longer and thicker tail?

the tail does look like a regenerated tail due to loss of original tail - so real tail length may of been alot longer than this stumpy tail.

Yes, I´am actually working at an article about Hoplodactylus delcourti for a magazine, and yesterday I found this page too. I sent an e-mail to Aaron Bauer and asked if I could use its publications for my article, and it was very decent of him to write back and send the pdf-files of its manuskripts just some hours later.
