This species was last seen in 1946, the whole species is considered as extinct.

Extinction in a hyperdiverse endemic Hawaiian land snail family and implications for the underestimation of invertebrate extinction

Endemic to Maui and last recorded in 1946 (known from 3 localities). It is considered extinct by Régnier et al., (2015).
