Rounded Global Status: GH - Possibly Extinct Reasons: Reported by Burch (1989) from California, Oregon, and Nevada; but review of the specimens in museum collections indicates only two records in California are valid. One site has not been identified or relocated with certainty and the Clear Lake population appears to be extinct. Clear Lake has serious water pollution and non-native species introduction problems. www.natureserve.org/ |
