I wonder if anyone reads or posts actively on here. This is a fairly big forum but no one is posting or responding to anything. Do the moderators not greet new members? I have many questions and there is no one to talk to. Should I allow a day or two for responses? Just trying to get a feel for the place.

Don't forget that many of us live in completely different time zones. So, when You write Your posts, others of us may lay in bed and sleep.

Ahhh, time zones! I am on a number of forums but they are mostly American, so that is the difference. Sorry for sounded so dumb about it. I just get anxious when I am talking about something I am passionate about. I guess I expected instant results, so sorry. I have so very much to learn and am thrilled find this place. I had felt alone before trying to google this and google that and now I have a home base

I completely agree Melanie. Too many people just concentrate on animals and forget about plants even though there have probably been more than 1,000 extinctions in recent millennia. We need more contributors to the Vanishing Flora forum if anybody is willing to contribute, or even just visit the forum to keep to date with the most recent news. So many threads have only a single post with not much information. Please don't forget about the plants people!

Probably humans will go extinct also. I admit we are a self centered psychopathic species, but charity begins at home does it not? I care about my grandchild. I bet you do also.
