Why don't you keep both! A online forum and an e-mail discussion group! Maybe some people will prefer the e-mails.

Peter, i think you are right. But i hope my new forum will get more members. Where are the plant loving people, the conservationists and botanists?

It can take a while! I have two forums, and after some while the number of members grew! People also tend to stay at a forum when it has many posts and many members. But I'm sure it will come! I'm currently rebuilding my website! The name will be changed into The Extinction Website, and will have two seperate sections! One on recently extinct animals and one on recently extinct plants. In the future maybe more! But it will take still some work! I will advertise your new forum on the extinct plants site! This will be after the new update!

Thank you Noisi. By the way. I have made advertising for the new forum in a German Forum (Tigerforum). But i have made the experience that many Germans don't like to discuss in the English language. I think they would neglect a chance to met interesting people from other countries.

Who wants to see dried specimens of abnormal plants? In Summer 2008, I picked up dendelions who suffered from develppment defects (they all are siamese brothers). If you want to see them, go to the vanishingplantsproboards. Melanie helped me putting them in the forum. They are in "Bowhead Whale's Plants pictures".

It would be nice to have a stronger support for the Vanishing Plants forum. We are currently only three people who regularly post in this forum. vanishingflora.proboards.com/

Personally, I wanted to conduct research on extinct mushroom and cultivars from all over the world, but I focus on creating archival database on extinct breeds and will be publishing something new in the future.
