Hey, have a great time there. Maybe, you'll met the ghost of Winnetou there . (To all who are not familiar. Winnetou was a popular Indian chief hero from several stories of German novelist Karl May. Winnetou was filmed in the 1960s in Kroatia (e.g. Lake Plitvice).
One of most beautiful regions in Kroatia and World Heritage Site, Lake Plitvice
Thanks, I'm glad to be back. Yes I had a great time. Excepts for a couple of days with some rain it was mostly very sunny and always warm. Croatia is a beautiful country, especially the Plitvice Lakes National Park which Melanie mentioned. A must to visit during a trip to Croatia.

It seems like a beautiful country, indeed. But, to my taste (it's just a matter of taste), northern countries seem more appealing to me than the southern ones. I mean, Scandinavia and North-West territories (Canada) make me dream a lot more than Brazil and Cuba.

Iceland! That's a cool place, indeed! The coolest thing, to me, about Iceland, is the horses. Iceland horses are quite small, with lionish manes and come in many colors. They also have a way of running which is exclusive to them: the tölt. The tölt is the same as walking (one hoof at the time), only these ponies do it a lot, lot faster, like if they were on Fast Forward video motion.
