What about a board for info on non-threatened animals? I know it will go off the assunt, but it maybe interesting to get info in this category too. What do you think?

I think a separate forum would be better for that topic.

RSN thanks for your suggestion, but I agree with Melanie. Because it is not related to extinction and if we had such a board (or boards) than the forum would become to big.

RSN, you want a list of non-threatened animals? Here is one: -Rats -Mosquitos -Rock doves -Flees -Meat flies -Lice -Tics -Humans Almost all the animals I mentionned are considered as vermine, because of their uncontroled growing numbers. The last one is actually creating extinctions. So, this forum, which is about extinction, is also, in a subtile way, about non-threatened life, that thrives on the disappearance of other lifes, if you see what I mean. So, the extinction subjects brings just by itself its complementary counterpart. I'm not saying you didn't have a good idea; I'm just saying the subject is already part of the forum.

Well... Non threatened animals can be interesting for this forum. Specially when can be responsible of the extinction of others. Experiences about control methods of rats, weeds and alien species in islans for instance really could deserve a post or even an entire subforum here in my opinion.
