Have these genera (Alopecoenas and Pampusanna) internationally recognised or are these just from one single source ? Everyone else still uses the Gallicolumba genus for all the species.
And why is the Luzon Bleeding hearth still in the Gallicolumba genus while the other Philippine endemics are placed in Pampusanna ? I find that hard to believe to be honest and I will keep all these genera in the Gallicolumba genus for now.
Has anyone any knowledge whether these changes are actually accepted in the scientific world ?
