Orsonwelles torosus, originally described as Labulla torosus
from Kaua'i / Hawaiian Islands
"The small geographic distribution ranges of many Orsonwelles species, particularly those from Kauai, make these spiders particularly susceptible to environmental disturbances. As I have mentioned, O. torosus has not been reported since Perkins collected the only known specimen at the turn of the nineteenth century. As far as I can determine, O. torosus is now extinct."
