Justification:
This species is endemic to Mount Canigou, in the Pyrenees, France. It is only known from the type locality and has not been seen since the end of the 19th century. Hydrophilous meadows is a threatened habitat, as they have been drained for agricultural purposes. This species is assessed as Critically Endangered, Possibly Extinct.
