Justification: The species is known from three similar sites in Madagascar, Seychelles and Comores, with an area of occupancy (AOO) of 3 km2. It has not been located recently, despite thorough searches in the Seychelles at least. Although the localities are widely dispersed, they are all threatened mangrove systems highly vulnerable to sea-level rise and so are considered to be a single location. Therefore, this species is assessed as Critically Endangered (Possibly Extinct). Source: www.iucnredlist.org/details/summary/196122/0
