I think this is prematured to say that this species is rediscovered (maybe the category Formerly extinct species is more sufficient). The last comment state:

It was valid when the paper was published in 2021 and have not found any subsequent information suggesting it is a synonym of another species. Karl Magnacca is working at the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum and is one of the world leading entomologists when it comes to Hawaii insects so the id is probably correct www.researchgate.net/profile/Karl-Magnacca
