Rediscoveries and Presumed Extinctions of Hawaiian Leaf-roller Moths (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae).
Presumed extinct. This species is known from three specimens: the holotype female and two paratype males collected by Perkins at elevations of 3000–4000 ft on Molokaʻi. It appears closely related to “P.” fuscoviridis (Walsingham) from Lānaʻi and “P.” lichenoides (Walsingham) from Hawaiʻi island and likely fed on Psychotria spp. (Rubiaceae) or Nestegis sandwicensis (Oleaceae) like other members of this undescribed genus.
