Rounded Global Status: G1 - Critically Imperiled Reasons: Recently rediscovered in the Cahaba River in Pipp County, Alabama (Birmingham News, 3 May 2005). Previously listed as extinct and not seen since 1965. Estimated Number of Element Occurrences Comments: Only known from type locality.
